Gant, Battersea Power Station

Gant, a leading clothing retailer, entrusted our company with the task of manufacturing and installing custom circular and rectangular ductwork for their new store located in the iconic Battersea Power Station. The store was designed to preserve some of the unique features of the Power Station’s Turbine Hall, including a sprayed-metal cash desk inspired by vintage cars from the same era as the Power Station itself. This case study showcases our ability to deliver tailored solutions that effectively merge functionality and aesthetics.

The primary challenge in this project was to create ductwork that would seamlessly integrate into the existing architecture of the Battersea Power Station, while adhering to the specific requirements of Gant’s store fit out. The sprayed-metal cash desk presented an additional challenge, as it necessitated ductwork that would harmonise with its vintage aesthetic.

To address these challenges, we manufactured ductwork that not only blended with the Power Station’s existing architecture but also complemented the distinctive sprayed-metal cash desk.
