When the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) required the manufacturing and installation of ductwork across five separate locations, they turned to our expert team for assistance. The project included the 19th floor of a Birmingham building, Birmingham Hill, Kidderminster, Leicester, and Stafford. With a focus on using galvanised steel for both circular and rectangular ducting, our mission was to efficiently install the ductwork while minimising disruptions to the daily operations of the MOJ’s staff and visitors.
The MOJ project presented several obstacles, primarily due to the need to coordinate our installation schedule with the ongoing operations in each location. The buildings were fully occupied, and our team had to ensure a safe working environment while causing minimal disruptions. Moreover, the 19th floor of the Birmingham building posed logistical challenges due to its height and limited access.
To overcome these hurdles, our team devised a comprehensive project plan that took the MOJ’s schedule into account and allowed us to carry out the installation work during off-peak hours. We implemented stringent safety protocols, including regular inspections and on-site training for all workers. For the 19th-floor installation, our team utilised a specialised lift and meticulously planned the process to reduce any possible disruptions.
Our diligent efforts paid off, as the project was completed within the designated timeframe and budget. The Ministry of Justice reported enhanced air quality and increased energy efficiency in the buildings after the installation. The MOJ staff commended our team for their professionalism and attention to detail throughout the project.
The successful completion of the ductwork installation across five Ministry of Justice locations demonstrates our team’s ability to navigate complex challenges while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This case study highlights our dedication to client satisfaction and our commitment to providing exceptional service in the face of demanding circumstances.
